Having trouble with the app? Here are solutions to the most common issues parents encounter.

Login Problems

"Phone number not found"

Cause: Your phone number isn't registered with your daycare.

Solution: Contact your daycare to verify or update your phone number on file.

"Child name doesn't match"

Cause: The name you entered doesn't match records.

Solution: Use your child's first name exactly as it appears on their enrollment. Ask your daycare if unsure.

"Not receiving verification code"

Solutions:

  • Wait 2-3 minutes—codes can be delayed
  • Check your spam/blocked messages
  • Tap "Resend Code" to try again
  • Ensure your phone can receive SMS texts
  • Verify the phone number is entered correctly

"Forgot my PIN"

Solution: Tap "Forgot PIN?" on the login screen and verify via SMS to create a new one.

Notification Issues

"Not receiving check-in alerts"

Check these settings:

  1. In the app: Menu → Settings → Notifications enabled
  2. In phone settings: App has notification permission
  3. Phone isn't in Do Not Disturb mode
  4. Stable internet connection

"Delayed notifications"

Possible causes:

  • Poor internet connection—try Wi-Fi
  • Battery saver mode may delay notifications
  • Log out and back in to refresh your connection

Display Issues

"Children list is empty"

Solutions:

  • Pull down to refresh the list
  • Check your internet connection
  • Log out and back in
  • Verify your children are enrolled with your phone number

"Photos not loading"

Solutions:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Wait a moment and try again
  • Verify your consent settings allow photo viewing

App Performance

"App is slow or freezing"

  • Close and reopen the app
  • Check for app updates in your app store
  • Restart your phone
  • Free up device storage if low
