Administering Scheduled Medication

1. Open resident's eMAR
2. Find the medication due
3. Verify the 5 Rights:
   • Right resident
   • Right medication
   • Right dose
   • Right time
   • Right route
4. Administer the medication
5. Tap "Given" in the app
6. Your name and timestamp are recorded

If Resident Refuses

1. Tap "Refused"
2. Document the reason
3. Notify supervisor per protocol
4. Try again later if appropriate

PRN Medications

1. Go to PRN section
2. Select the medication
3. Document the reason for giving
4. Note any symptoms or observations
5. Record administration
