The SafePass Driver App helps school bus drivers with real-time GPS tracking and student safety monitoring.
Download & Install
- Android: Download from Google Play Store - search "SafePass Driver"
- iOS: Download from App Store - search "SafePass Driver"
First-Time Login
- Open the app and enter your Driver ID provided by your school
- Enter your PIN code (4-6 digits)
- Allow location permissions when prompted - this is required for GPS tracking
- Allow notification permissions for route alerts
💡 Demo Mode
For training, use demo credentials: Driver ID DEMO-001 with PIN 1234
Home Screen Overview
After login, you'll see:
- Map View: Your current location and assigned route
- Start Route: Begin GPS tracking for your route
- Student List: Children assigned to your bus
- Settings: Configure alerts and preferences
Permissions Required
- Location (Always): For continuous GPS tracking while driving
- Notifications: For route alerts and updates
- Bluetooth: For BLE beacon scanning (child safety tags)
